Tennessee Whiskey Trail

Whiskey, Whiskey and More… Whiskey

PROJECT BRIEF:

During April of 2023, I was contracted by the Tennessee Whiskey Trail to capture the experience of touring three different regions of the trail via photography and videography. In total, we toured and tasted products from 10 distilleries while exploring the food, lodging and other experiences offered in each region. For one-and-a-half weeks, we did nothing but explore the beautiful state of Tennessee while enjoying its famous whiskey from world-class distilleries. Below you’ll find photos and finished reels from each region, highlighting the unique characteristics of each.

NOTE: The reels were to be left blank with no text or sound so that the TN Whiskey Trail team could customize them to their liking.

West Tennessee Region - Memphis

A tour of the Western region of the Tennessee Whiskey Trail brings you to Memphis, the city of blues. Located only a few blocks from the world-famous Beale Street, Old Dominick Whiskey is a crown jewel of the TN Whiskey Trail. With so many other places to visit and explore in Memphis, this section of the Tennessee Whiskey Trail is perhaps one of the most unique and fun experiences.

Middle Tennessee Region - Nashville, Manchester, Lynchburg, Sewanee

The Middle Tennessee Located region is home to beautiful rolling hills, the home of country music and the oldest registered distillery in the US, Jack Daniel’s. Our tour of the region started off in Nashville and took us to Manchester, home of one of the world’s largest music festivals, Bonnaroo, and over to Lynchburg and the Sewannee area. Our distillery visits included Nashville Barrel Company, Big Machine and Jack Daniel’s.

East Tennessee Region - Chattanooga, Knoxville, Pigeon Forge

The Eastern Tennessee region is perhaps the most scenic area in the state. Home to the Great Smokys, rolling hills and gorgeous landscapes, this region offers not just world-class whiskey, but also world-class adventure. With seemingly endless distillery options and even more choices for adventure, the Eastern TN region is unlike anything else. Make sure to leave plenty of time for exploration when visiting as you’ll find yourself leaving the beaten path for more unique and memorable experiences. Our distillery visits included: Company Distilling, Old Forge Distillery, Junction 35 Distillery, Post Modern, Chattanooga Whiskey Works and Gate 11 Distillery.
